iRiver UNIT2, Wifi, portable LCD IPTV, DMB and VoIP, give B&O a run for the money in design

iRiver by Reingcom presented the new UNIT2 at the CES 06, an interesting mix of Wi-Fi LCD display DVD player, PMP with the support of the DMB, IPTV and VoIP…

It is very sexy as you can see from the official photo here, but doubts are we will ever see it here in USA market. If not, as soon as it is shipping in home country Korea, www.firsttoyou.com will be sure to make it available to those in the know!

Spyke WiFiRobot features: Vid-Cam, Mic, Speaker, VoIP, Mp3.. super cool and different

The tank-treaded robot, Spyke, by Erector is a unique robot truly different than its competitors from WowWee. This little tyke is controlled from a computer via a local WiFi connection or through the Internet.

The Spyke features some interesting functions such as:

• Video Camera
• Microphone
• Loudspeaker
• VoIP capability
• Digital Music Player

It is currently a prototype and won't be release until the end of June 06 as there are still some bugs to be ironed out. It will retail for approximately $270 (250 Euros) when launched.

It will be distributed in USA by Eerector.

Spyke features a built-in camera and can also send you e-mails of those snapshots whenever it detects a motion, and even features a VoIP phone (compatible with MSN, Skype, Google Talk)
